One declaration is one active, signed EU Declaration of Conformity per packaging type. Each carries a unique reference, a QR-verifiable public page, and the technical file backing it. Declarations stay live and editable — the cap counts active declarations on your account, not annual issuance.

Free exists to evaluate Declare end to end — fill the form, sign, generate the QR-verified PDF. One declaration is enough to feel the flow. PPWR forces you to declare every packaging type, so producers running a business move to Growth or Pro.

You will not lose access to existing declarations — they remain live and verifiable. You will be blocked from issuing new declarations until you upgrade or add an Extra Declarations addon. We notify you before you hit the cap.

Addons are available on the Pro plan. Stack as many Extra Declarations as you need at €20/mo per +500. Pro + 1 addon covers 1,000 declarations at €79/mo. Add or remove monthly, billed alongside your plan.

Yes. Declare produces a signed EU Declaration of Conformity that matches PPWR Article 39 and the Annex VIII model — covering substance restrictions, recyclability, recycled content, minimisation, reuse, and innovative packaging. The signer remains personally liable for the claims, as required by the regulation.

Yes to both. Upgrade instantly from your account settings. If you downgrade or cancel, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No long-term contracts on Free, Growth, or Pro. All your declarations and technical files remain exportable.
